Welcome to the Prehire site (the “Site”). Prehire.co.uk.

Agreement

General terms of users set out the legal agreement for each passenger (“you, your” or known collectively as “passenger”) governing the use of Prehire owned or licensed software and ordering transportation services.

By accessing and using this website, you accept the following Terms & Conditions and, in addition, if you book and undertake trips, the general terms of sales of Prehire.

If you disagree with these terms of use or any part of these terms, you must not access or use this website.

Licence

Prehire grants you a non-exclusive licence to access and use the content in this website for your personal purposes. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the content for commercial purposes.

1. When using this website you agree.

1.1 To be entirely responsible for and keep secret password used by you. You should change your password if you believe it's no longer secret.

1.2 We will send you (SMS) text messages / and Emails as part of your use of the services.

1.3 Not to do anything which will or might damage, interfere with, disrupt access to, interrupt or impair the functionality of the material available on the website.

1.4 Not to post, distribute or otherwise upload any defamatory, offensive, infringing, obscene, indecent or otherwise unlawful or objectionable material or information or send any chain letters, junk mail, 'spamming' material or any other form of bulk communication.

1.5 Not to threaten, harass, stalk, abuse, disrupt or otherwise violate the rights of others, including individuals' privacy rights.

1.6 Not to make any unauthorised, false or fraudulent orders, reservations or request for services.

1.7 Not to obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to any private or other customer account areas on the site.

1.8 To not do, cause or permit anything to be done that may infringe, damage or interfere with any intellectual property rights of Prehire or any of our associated companies or third parties.

1.9 Not to do anything that is otherwise unlawful or which may cause any liability for us.

2. Breach of Terms

If we consider that you have breached any of these terms of use or have otherwise demonstrated inappropriate conduct when using this website we reserve the right to.

  • Send you warning via email, suspend or restrict your access to the website.

  • Permanently prohibit you from accessing the website.

  • Block computers using your IP address from accessing the website.

  • Suspend and, or terminate your account facilities.

3. Indemnity

If your conduct on this web site causes us, or any associated company loss, damage or other costs, you shall be responsible for reimbursing these costs.

3.1 You undertake to fully and effectively indemnify and to keep Prehire indemnified at all times against all actions, proceedings, costs, claims, demands, liabilities and expenses whatsoever (including legal and other fees and disbursements) sustained, incurred or paid by Prehire in respect of: Any information, data or material produced, stored, transmitted or downloaded by you when using this website, any breach by you of these terms and conditions or of any law, code or regulation relating to this website.

3.2 We may revise these terms of use from time-to-time. Revised terms of use will apply to the use of this website from the date of the publication of revised terms of use. Please check this page regularly to make sure that you are familiar with the current version.

4. Liability

Prehire excludes all warranties, express or implied relating to this website. This includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranty that the information it contains is accurate or up-to-date or is suitable for any particular purpose.

4.1 Prehire shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as the result of the use of this website.

4.2 There may be links to other web sites from the Prehire web site; however, these other websites are not controlled by Prehire and we are not responsible for any content contained on any such websites or any loss suffered by you in relation to your use of such websites. You waive any and all claims against Prehire regarding the inclusion of links to outside websites or your use of those websites.

4.3 In the event of any claim against Prehire arising out of its performance of hire, the company's liability shall be limited to a refund not exceeding the cost of journey. Any other payments will be entirely at the discretion of the company.

5. Payment and charges

All our prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are reflective of the date & time, and type of service. Please ensure to check the relevant pricing when booking to get the most accurate cost of your travel.

5.1 Payments must be made upon submission of your order and with credit or debit card only, we accept most major credit and debit cards.

5.2 We may withhold the services and /or cancel the contract between us if the value of the transaction from you is not received in full before the date the service is due to commence.

5.3 All quotations are estimated journey charges, and do not include additional waiting and parking time, toll charges and gratuities.

5.4 Final journey charges will be calculated according to the other relevant factors, e.g. additional waiting time, parking, toll charges and gratuities.

5.5 Bookings for “Hourly Hire” journeys are calculated as starting and finishing at Central London W1, (base to base ) except those hires that are subject to a fixed charge.

5.6 All hires involving a drop off and subsequent pickup will be priced as one continuous hire unless the interval between journeys is 3 hours or more stated at the time of booking is made.

5.7 Chauffeur's overnight subsistence allowance will be made by arrangement and gratuities are at client's discretion.

5.8 The Chauffeur will take the most optimal route, unless the client gives specific instructions or prevailing traffic conditions dictate. Prehire accepts no responsibility for delays however caused.

5.9 Prehire accepts no responsibility for any accidental damage caused by clients to the interior or exterior of the vehicle.

5.10 In the event that the interior of the vehicle soiled or damaged by the passenger, a valeting charge will apply.

5.11 A reasonable amount of luggage is allowed, but luggage which in the opinion of chauffeur, amounts to excessive weight may not be carried. Prehire accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to client's luggage or personal property however caused.

5.12 Prehire reserve the right to enlist the services of carefully selected affiliates to provide the service on our behalf during busy periods but shall remain responsible for the overall service delivery.

5.13 Prehire reserves the right to amend, add, change and delete these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.

6. Waiting & Parking

We understand short delays are sometimes inevitable, so we allow grace period of:

  • 60 minutes for airport transfers, form the minute your flight touches down.

  • 15 minutes for non-airport transfers, starts from the requested pickup time.

  • Additional waiting time will be charged and is rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.

  • Additional parking will be charged and is rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes.

Our current waiting time rates are:

  • Mercedes E Class £12.50 per 15 minutes.

  • Mercedes S Class £17.50 per 15 minutes.

  • Mercedes V Class £15.00 per 15 minutes.

If no contact has been made within the grace period allowance, we reserve the right to terminate the service for the full amount.

We will make every effort to help you to locate your driver, upon arrival you will be sent WhatsApp message / Email, confirming your driver's contact details. If you cannot locate your driver and you seek an alternative method of transport without first contacting Prehire to try and resolve the situation, you will be charged the full amount based on the service booked.

7. Surcharge

A surcharge of 100% will apply for journeys on Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years eve from 18.00 until New Years day and 50% surcharge will apply on all other Bank/National holidays.

8. No-Show Policy

  • Airport Pickups:

    If the passenger does not appear at the pickup point within 60 minutes after the flight has landed, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be provided.

  • Non-Airport Pickups:

    If the passenger does not appear at the pickup point within 15 minutes of scheduled pickup time, it will be considered no-show, and no refund will be provided.

9. Cancellation and Refund

Our policy is to avoid charging our clients cancellation fees where we can; there will be some occasions where either we or our affiliate has incurred cost in the provision of a service that is cancelled or not used, cancellation charge will apply.

9.1 Cancellation made by you up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are free of charge.

9.2 Cancellation made by you within 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will incur a cancellation fee, equivalent to the full price of the booking.

9.3 Cancellation made by us due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.

9.4 Refund due to you will be processed as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days from the day we received your valid notice of cancellation, we will use the same method as you originally used to pay for the service.
